Every time Funshine and I ride the tricycle going to Sancho, we pass by this curious sign that does not fail to catch our attention.
It’s a giant chili! You wouldn’t miss it because it’s really eye-catching, especially at night. We didn’t know what it was and we were too timid to go there and ask 😛
Our curiosity finally got the best of us one night. While we were trying to figure out where we were going to have dinner, Funshine suggested: “Let’s check out the one with the giant chili!”
And so we did.
The place was serene, which makes it an ideal date spot. The interiors were also very eye-catching: the tablecloths, table runners, paintings, guitars, chairs, collection of bottles… Can you imagine? (I’m sorry I can’t find our other pictures 😦 )
Cocina Juan serves Latin American cuisine, particularly Argentinian foods, as explained to us by the waiter. What did the bears decide to try?
The pizza may look deceivingly thin but it was really packed with yummy savory toppings. We enjoy pizzas like this because the crust isn’t too filling and we get to try the other choices.
We looooove their Dinamita! It was really cheesy with just the right kick of spiciness. We love peppers in all shapes, colors and sizes so this was an easy choice. Yes, even though it was practically swimming in oil. 😛
